COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - Metro State (30-16, 26-11 RMAC) is the No. 3 seed and plays No. 6-seed CSU-Pueblo (27-22, 22-18 RMAC) in the first round of the RMAC Softball Tournament, Thursday, May 1 at 9 a.m.

The double-elimination tournament is hosted by top-seeded Colorado School of Mines and takes place on the Orediggers' home field, as well as at Long Lake Ranch Park. The Roadrunners play their first two games at Long Lake Ranch Park. If Metro State beats the ThunderWolves in its opener, it faces the winner of No. 2-seed Adams State (33-18, 22-16 RMAC) and No. 7-seed Nebraska-Kearney (20-26, 19-21 RMAC) at 9 a.m., Friday.

The tournament runs Thursday-Saturday with the championship being played Saturday afternoon at the Colorado School of Mines Field.
