First Season

Brenna Millikan begins her first season as an assistant coach for head coach Jen Fisher. Millikan will work with the Roadrunner pitchers.

Prior to coming to Metro State, Millikan served as a head coach at Great Starts Sports Camps, where she worked instructional camps for children ages 4-11, teaching basic throwing, hitting and fielding skills. She also has given private pitching and hitting lessons to young players. In addition, Millikan spent the 2005 and 2006 seasons as the head junior varsity softball coach at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Millikan began her college career at Otero Junior College, where she played two seasons under Fisher. At Otero, Millikan earned first team all-region honors and was an Academic all-American in 2003. She then transferred to RMAC rival UC-Colorado Springs, where she spent two seasons. Millikan earned RMAC Pitcher of the Year and first team all-RMAC honors in 2004. The Mountain Lions were the 2004 RMAC champions and the South Central regional runner-up. Millikan earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from UCCS, graduating Magna Cum Laude, in 2005.

Millikan, who also earned a master's in education in 2007, and her husband, Brian, reside in Brighton with their newborn son.
