Preston Hardy begins his first season as a student assistant coach at Metro State in 2007-08.

Prior to arriving at Metro State, Hardy spent the summer of 2007 as the Colorado Flight girls' 16 and under head coach, as well as the 18 and under assistant coach. He helped develop the AAU team from the ground up.

Hardy has also spent several years at Centaurus (Colo.) High School, where he was the boys' assistant varsity coach (2006-07), boys' assistant football coach (2006), girls' freshman basketball coach (2006) and head of boys' player development (2001-03).

Hardy, who played basketball at Fairview High School, is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in secondary education at Metro State.
