Tom Skul begins his third year as an assistant coach at Metro State in 2007-08. In addition to helping with all aspects of the program, Skul serves as the recruiting coordinator. During Skul's tenure, Metro State has earned two RMAC Tournament bids. Skul played college baseball as Appalachian State University, where he graduated in 1996 with a degree in political science. While at Appalachian State, the Mountaineers won the Southern Conference title as a 1996 senior. A native of Arvada, Colo., Skul prepped at Arvada West, where he played both baseball and football. He was an all-Jefferson County player in baseball as a 1991 junior and a 1992 senior. Skul and his wife, Amie, were married in the summer of 2007 and reside in Arvada, Colo. |
