Track and Field Competes at CU Invitational

The Metro State Track & Field team competed at the CU Invitational, Saturday in Boulder, Colo. The men's 4 x 400 Meter Relay team composed of Gabe Luna, Shawn Lindbom, Rich Bogatay and Anthony Luna finished second with a conference leading time of 3:20.71 to the University of Colorado (3:19.83). Lindbom also finished fifth in the 800m with a time of 1:57.68. On the women's side, the team of Sheila Hughes, Shanise Hamilton, Taebrooke Rutter and Jessica Jenkins took third place in the women's 4X400m relay with a time of 4:10.61. The track and field team will compete at the Rob Upton Invitational next Saturday in Fort Collins, Colo. |
