DENVER, COLO. -- The Metro State men defeated the club team from the University of Colorado, 137-91, while the women fell, 165-51, in a swimming and diving meet, Saturday at the Auraria Pool.

On the men's side, Evan Venrick won the 200-yard free (1:53.70), while Jake Haffner won the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.03) and the 100-yard butterfly (53.96). Ryan Moseman won the 100-yard free (50.49),the 50-yard free (23.18) and the 400-yard medley (4:33.46).

For the women, Laura Michael-Trumbull won the 100-yard butterfly (1:10.81) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:49.71). Elizabeth Michael-Trumbull was second in the 50-yard free, while Annika Matlock was second in the 500-yard free.

In the relays, Metro State won the men's 400-yard medley and 400-yard free, while Kenny Rhoades won the men's diving one and three meters.

Metro State returns to the pool at Colorado College, Dec. 1.
